ACEDS adds experts Emma Quinn, the first CEDS-certified professional in UK and leader in global e-discovery work, and Seth Row, attorney and expert in social media, to Advisory Board
Miami – The Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS) today announced that Emma Quinn and Seth Row have been appointed to the Advisory Board.
Ms. Quinn is the first professional in the United Kingdom to earn the Certified E-Discovery Specialist credential. As the E-Discovery Associate Director for a global financial institution based in London, she consults with legal counsel worldwide to address e-discovery processing and production issues in complex cases with multiple jurisdictions.
Mr. Row, Of Counsel at Parsons Farnell & Grein in Portland, Oregon, is an experienced commercial litigator who advises clients on ESI-intensive matters and e-discovery risk management. Previously, he was a founding member of the Electronic Data Discovery Specialty Team for an AmLaw 100 firm.
The Board guides ACEDS management in its worldwide programs that are offered to businesses, lawyers, litigation support professionals, information technology specialists, knowledge officers and government agencies. The centerpiece is the acclaimed Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) certification, which was released in November 2010 and has been earned by professionals in several countries.

Emma Quinn, CEDS
E-Discovery Associate Director at Barclays, in London, she consults with internal and external legal review teams across all of Barclays worldwide regarding their e-discovery needs, implementation of those needs, and processing and production of documents in cases with extensive reviewable data. She conducts training for Barclays personnel globally, manages client and project operations, and supervises the testing, maintenance and research of e-discovery software. Previously, she worked as an e-discovery specialist at KPMG with responsibility for technical processing, client management and e-discovery project management at each stage of the process.
