Understanding the Role of Allies in Your Organization

August 2, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Join the ACEDS IDEAA Committee for a panel discussion

Do you ever wonder what your role is in creating a more inclusive workplace? Join our panel as we discuss the critical role of allies and advocates in fostering an inclusive workplace. Whether you’re already an ally or want more actionable steps on what you can do to help, this conversation is for you.

The investment we are making in allyship allows us to create real change in the workplace and derive meaningful business value. A diverse and inclusive workplace gives our teams a sense of belonging. When our teams feel more connected, they tend to work harder and smarter, produce higher quality work, and have more personal satisfaction. There are various types of allies – you may currently be an ally, have allies, or wish to become an ally in this struggle.

But what does that really mean?

In this webinar we will discuss the role of allies, share personal stories of meaningful allies, and let you know how you can be an ally. Diverse and inclusive workplaces can be both difficult to find and hard to create, but if we care about creating inclusive environments, we have the ability to effect real change.
