Join the South Florida Chapter as it returns with renewed leadership, expanded educational focus, and a commitment to shaping the future of eDiscovery in our region.
The ACEDS South Florida Chapter is entering a new era with clarity, energy, and purpose. After a pandemic pause, the chapter is returning with a board of experienced legal and technology professionals, many of whom hold the CEDS credential, and are committed to building a vibrant, forward-thinking local community.
This isn’t simply about hosting events again. It’s about creating consistent, relevant programming on issues shaping our profession today: legal AI, evolving career paths for paralegals in eDiscovery, the intersection of social justice and discovery, emerging technologies, defensibility, and professional certification. The board is equally focused on strengthening partnerships with paralegal programs, law schools, and complementary professional associations to foster collaboration and develop the next generation of legal data professionals in South Florida. The goal is to build a chapter that feels connected, accessible, and impactful, supporting professionals at every stage of their careers.
“Local chapters turn professional growth into personal connection,” said Maribel Rivera, VP of Strategy & Client Engagement at ACEDS. “South Florida has extraordinary talent, and this board is ready to cultivate a community that supports education, leadership, and thoughtful progress in our field.”
