January 5, 2023 – Dallas, TX—The Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS), the world’s leading organization for training and certification in e-discovery and part of The BARBRI Group, announced today the launch of an Arizona Chapter.
The Arizona Chapter will offer local educational programming, social networking events, and a forum for the exchange of ideas, guidance, and best practices in e-discovery based on ACEDS’ mission and values. Many of the Arizona board and members currently hold the Certified E-Discovery Specialists (CEDS) credential or are aspiring to earn the CEDS qualification.
The following experts will serve as the first volunteer board for the ACEDS Arizona Chapter:
- President: Jay White, Director of Business Development, First Legal Discovery
- Vice President & Director of Education: Joe Skalski, Director, Value Engineering, Everlaw
- Treasurer: Terry Reeves, CEO, Elite Discovery
- Director of Membership: Carey Granda, Customer Success Manager, GoldFynch
The board of volunteer officers are currently developing the Chapter’s bylaws and coordinating a chapter launch event.
“The launch of the Chapter accommodates and ensures that ACEDS’ worldwide network is being served by offering lawyers, paralegals and other legal professionals in Arizona with invaluable local access to latest industry resources, training and certification, and networking,” shared Maribel Rivera, VP of Strategy and Client Engagement at ACEDS. “Being a part of ACEDS will help them to understand the risks, especially in an industry that is ever evolving, as well as promote industry best practices and foster collaboration among local professionals and other ACEDS chapters.”
