A clear understanding of search concepts and fundamentals remains a cornerstone of eDiscovery, as we covered in part 1 of this webinar series. Next, we’ll illustrate the application of search technology in eDiscovery project workflows to win cases.
In the second installment, we’ll discuss four search examples that led to winning cases and how these searches were created and applied. In one example from a recent case, search term reports with wildcards were used to identify misspelled terms that might not have been located without dictionary and search term analysis. Search is definitely more than just keywords, however, and you can create a search to identify documents one party produced that another party had not. Additional cases will discuss workflows incorporating other search and filtering techniques to reveal unknown and crucial information.
Ian Campbell of iCONECT and Dr. Gavin Manes of Avansic will review examples showing you how to build comprehensive and productive searches to support successful eDiscovery projects.
