Today, TRU Staffing Partners announced it launched its 12th annual scholarship program to train young professionals looking to grow their careers in data privacy, cybersecurity or e-discovery.
Through partnerships with industry leaders—such as DISCO, ACEDS, Relativity and Reveal, among others—the scholarship program offerings include training programs, support for certification exams, memberships in industry associations and invitations to conferences and industry events.
Over the last decade or so, the program has evolved and grown to add new industry partners and practice areas. And this year, Jared Coseglia, founder and CEO of TRU Staffing Partners, noted that the program is now offering a paid internship with e-discovery provider Complete Discovery Source.
Of course, the internship comes at a time when attorney e-discovery incompetence has emerged as one of the biggest challenges e-discovery faces—and some of the very public e-discovery blunders that marked 2022 are notorious examples of just that.
“From an e-discovery software perspective, for me it has always been critical that if you want to break into this business or you want to move up or around in this business, you really have to wield the proprietary technology people are using in this space in a way that is tactical and technical,” Coseglia said. “And so these trainings and certifications do that.”
