As Big Law transitions into 2025, legal experts are keeping an eye on the continued roll-out of new artificial intelligence programs in law firm business, and many firms are starting to realize the fruits of their labor when it comes to incorporating AI into their operations.
Certain use cases for AI in the legal field are gaining more traction than others, and those firms who appear to be experiencing success with these assistive platforms are singing the praises of how technological advancements are gradually helping to improve business. The most promising applications range from from legal research and deposition summaries to e-discovery, contract review, and even innovative associate training programs.
There are some roadblocks to AI implementation—some courts, for example, have barred attorneys from filing certain motions or pleadings if they involved the use of AI—but the technology for the most part has been given a green light in legal work.
