The ACEDS Mentorship Program provides opportunities for legal professionals across the e-discovery spectrum to better our global community through knowledge, leadership, and collaboration, and it provides an opportunity for leaders to give back to the community. Our goal-oriented program is an exclusive benefit provided to ACEDS members as a way for knowledgeable leaders in the field to usher in junior, committed newcomers. Through the Mentorship Program, ACEDS will pair individuals based on their common interests and goals, and curate relationships that promote greater opportunities for education, career development, and the betterment of the profession.

How Does Mentorship Work?
Select the appropriate application below, identify your goals, and submit it to mentorship@aceds.org. After your application is accepted, ACEDS will pair individuals for a 6-12 month program.
During this time period, paired individuals will meet on a weekly or biweekly (every other week) basis via conference or video call to check in on goal progress and collaborate on next steps. In addition to this, ACEDS Leadership will check in with a quarterly conference call to offer support and resources as needed.
Whether you are preparing to take the CEDS exam, looking for a new opportunity in e-discovery, or need guidance on a particular e-discovery issue, one of our mentors can help.

Why Mentorship?
- This entirely volunteer-led initiative demonstrates the value of community in e-discovery, through mentors who are willing and excited to share their resources and insights for the benefit of the industry and the individual.
- ACEDS members have exclusive access to apply for the program and reap the rewards of invaluable hands-on advice and coaching from industry veterans to meet achievements.
