North Carolina Legal Leaders Inspire Launch of New ACEDS Chapter

Uniting legal and technology professionals statewide with local access to ACEDS training, certification, and events, creating a hub for learning, networking, and career development.

Charlotte, NC and Raleigh, NC—August 8, 2025— The Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS), the world’s leading organization for training and certification in e-discovery, is proud to announce the official launch of its North Carolina Chapter. With a regional focus on both Charlotte and Raleigh, this new chapter will serve as a hub for legal and e-discovery professionals to connect, collaborate, and grow in their careers through local events, education, and networking opportunities.

The ACEDS North Carolina Chapter adds to the organization’s global footprint and commitment to fostering regional communities that elevate professional standards and promote best practices in e-discovery and legal technology. North Carolina, home to a rapidly expanding legal and tech community, represents an ideal location for ACEDS’ continued growth and impact.

Leading the chapter is Chris Cataldo, who will serve as Chapter President. Cataldo shared his vision for the new chapter:

Joining Cataldo on the chapter board are a team of experienced professionals committed to building an inclusive, engaged, and forward-thinking community:
