New tool provides immediate access to potentially privileged communications
QDiscovery today announced the launch of QPrivAlert, which provides case teams immediate access to and insight about the potentially privileged communications and documents within their dataset, as soon as the documents are published to a Relativity workspace.
Privileged documents pose unique challenges to case teams during the eDiscovery process. They can’t be missed or inadvertently produced, but take significant time to find and review. Key term searches often result in over- or under-inclusive results.
QPrivAlert, integrated into the QDiscovery workflow using Relativity Processing, saves case teams time and improves the review process. Case teams get earlier, more relevant insight into potentially privileged communications. Dashboards offer new views that help identify correspondents and patterns in communications, including the number of correspondents and day of the week communications took place. Using QPrivAlert with Relativity Analytics, case teams can brainstorm privileged search terms.
“Our project management team is dedicated to constantly improving our clients’ experience,” says David Barrett, CEO of QDiscovery. “Very little had changed in the privilege review process over the past few years. Everyone had pretty much accepted the process as the standard. Our team recognized we could dramatically improve privilege review within our existing workflow, using Relativity Processing. QPrivAlert is a direct result of our laser focus on customer service to offer solutions before our clients ask for them.”
QPrivAlert is listed in the Relativity App Hub, which includes applications and integrations built by Relativity developer partners, and is available now to users who access Relativity through QDiscovery. With the App Hub, users can pick and choose solutions from partners like QDiscovery that suit their unique workflows across different stages of the e-discovery process.
