The George Washington University Law School announced that it is helping lead training sessions on artificial intelligence for federal employees as part of The Artificial Intelligence Community of Practice’s (AI CoP) education series.

The AI CoP offers guidance and education around AI technology and adoption to a network of federal, state and local government employees, and helps meet the requirements set forth by the AI Training Act, and President Joe Biden’s Executive Order 14110.

The program was founded in 2020 by the General Services Administration in partnership with the Office of the Federal Chief Information Officer at the Office of Management and Budget.

According to a press release from GW Law, the school’s role in the trainings are part of a collaboration between its associate dean for government procurement law studies, Jessica Tillipman, and its associate dean for academic affairs, Aram Gavoor.
