The Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists is committed to offering the highest quality service to its members. In case you need to cancel a purchase from ACEDS, please read the Cancellation and Refund Policies listed below.

 

ACEDS Membership Cancellation

ACEDS dues are for annual membership and are non-refundable.


Financing Plans

Financing offered through Affirm is subject to separate terms & conditions. Please review those terms as part of the checkout process with Affirm. If ACEDS offers an installment plan directly, you will select your installment plan as part of your registration. Each payment period for your membership will be based on the payment period chosen (e.g., annually, bi-annually, quarterly, monthly) you may choose to be billed for your membership annually or in less than annual increments. Still, regardless of your billing cycle, you are responsible for your membership fees as listed in the one-time payment option of the package chosen.

CEDS Certification Cancellation

CEDS Certification exams must be taken within one (1) year of date of purchase (unless otherwise stated upon purchase). An administrative fee may be applied for CEDS examination cancellations less than three (3) business days before the scheduled time. CEDS Certification is non-refundable after 30 days or after course materials have been accessed, whichever comes first. If the course has been minimally accessed, a written request for refund may be submitted to [email protected] detailing why the refund is being requested. Requests for a refund where the course materials have been accessed will be reviewed and may be approved or denied at the sole discretion of ACEDS.

Online Training Cancellation

Online training programs must be completed within one (1) year of the date of purchase (unless otherwise stated upon purchase). Refunds may be requested up to 30 days from date of purchase or until course materials have been accessed, whichever comes first. If the course has been minimally accessed, a written request for refund may be submitted to [email protected] detailing why the refund is being requested. Requests for a refund where the course materials have been accessed will be reviewed and may be approved or denied at the sole discretion of ACEDS.

ACEDS reserves the right to update this cancellation policies document at any time.


Exhibitor Cancellations/Refunds

Exhibit space and sponsorships come with immediate benefits and therefore are non-refundable. All payments are final. Failure to occupy exhibit space does not relieve the exhibitor of its obligation to pay the full booth fee. Any exhibiting company canceling with a balance due is responsible for paying the remaining balance in full within 30 days of cancellation.


Event Sponsorship Refunds

Event sponsorships come with immediate benefits and therefore are non-refundable. All payments are final. Any sponsoring company canceling with a balance due is responsible for paying the remaining balance in full within 30 days of cancellation.
