CEDS Certificate
You can retrieve a PDF of your CEDS Certificate via the Credly platform. Please refer to the digital badging section below for more information on how to set up your account with Credly. Once you have accepted your CEDS Certification through Credly, you can retrieve your PDF Certificate by clicking on "Share" and then "Download Certificate".
This is a great achievement, so display your certificate on your social media, at home, or in your office as a reminder of your accomplishment. Keep a copy of your digital CEDS certificate stored for your records and easy access to your certification date.
Digital Badge
Our third-party digital badging platform, Credly, makes it easy to download and share your digital CEDS badge. Through Credly, you can add your digital badge to your social media profiles, email signature, and embed a hyperlink that allows one-click verification of your CEDS status.
A link to accept your badge will be emailed to you within 72-hours of earning your credential. When you accept your badge and set up your account with Credly, they make it easy to promote your new badge on social media—don’t forget to tag ACEDS when sharing your accomplishment—we would love to share it as well. Learn more about digital badging here.

Continuing Education and Recertification
Now that you have earned your CEDS, your account has received an automatic complimentary two-year period of membership and certification as part of your original package purchase. After your initial two-years of certification, you will need to complete the CEDS Recertification Application to renew your credential every two years. Part of the recertification process is detailing continuing education credits. Just like on the CEDS Certification Application, you may claim credits for renewal just by actively working in the e-discovery field. Additional credits can be achieved through training and education in e-discovery, information governance, or other adjacent areas. As an active member of ACEDS, you have access to all the continuing education webinars needed through the My Courses section of your account. Though there is no obligation to complete training credits through ACEDS, know that you have these productions available to you if additional credits are needed leading up to your renewal date. For more information on recertification, visit our recertification page here.
ACEDS Membership
Your ACEDS membership has been extended for two years from your certification date. While your CEDS credential is active, you will continue to be an active ACEDS member with access to your member benefits. This includes our extensive catalog of on-demand webinars (accessible through the My Courses section of your account), local chapter membership, and more. Stay connected and educated within the ACEDS community.
