Relativity Fest 2023 kicked off in Chicago last Tuesday, setting up four bustling days of law firms and e-discovery providers chatting about everything from ephemeral messages to new ABA rules to generative AI.
While some major pieces of news and events from the conference came out over the course of last week, below are a handful of takeaways that highlight the biggest topics discussed during the event.
Generative AI (Hello, aiR)
One would be hard-pressed to find a legal technology conference in 2023 that does not touch on how generative artificial intelligence is impacting the industry. Relativity Fest 2023 was no exception.
In fact, the conference Keynote speech kicked off with the e-discovery provider announcing a host AI powered solutions, and its first-ever generative AI powered solution aiR for Review, slated to come in 2024. The offerings is especially significant because “aiR” will become Relativity’s moniker for many generative AI tools to come.
The generative AI conversations extended throughout conference hallways, dinners and of course panels.
